Postnatal yoga is designed to nurture and support women through this beautiful yet challenging time of change and transformation. This specific class will help you to rebuild strength and stability after the birth of your baby.
class includes:
consciously using our breath to reconnect to the pelvic floor and build functional core strength.
yoga postures that restore energy and release tension in the neck, shoulders and back.
Relaxation, time to nourish tired bodies and minds and bond with your baby.
Time to meet other local women and share experiences.
Emotional and physical support for mums facing the challenges of early motherhood
General advise is to begin from 6 weeks post natural birth and 8-10 weeks post c-section.
Mamas you can come with or without your precious baby. If you have the help available and can get time for just you that is wonderful, but sometimes that is just not possible. Classes are suitable for babies up until crawling and all babies are welcome no matter what mood they happen to be in! Babies sometimes cry. Sometimes they sleep. Sometimes they feed. We go with the flow.
